Hollow Cylindrical Fenders
The Rubber Company manufacture Hollow Cylindrical Fender for use on quays, docks, jetty’s and ports. Rubber fenders are to prevent damage to both vessel and docks absorbing impact of contact.Hollow Cylindrical Fenders are most commonly used for Marine applications, however can be used for protection sleeves, anti vibration pads, etc.
The smaller sizes of this product are produced through a die using the extrusion method, we can produce them in diameters from as small as 20mm O.D. up to 600mm O.D. The Hollow Cylindrical Fenders are simple in design, usually with the I.D. at 50% less than the O.D. The lengths can be extruded to suit the customers requirements (up to the maximum run lengths); in some cases we may be able to manufacture longer lengths than stated, please ask for details. Our Hollow Cylindrical Fenders can be pre-curved and drilled to assist application and installation.

The larger cylindrical fenders are built using the same quality elastomer by a wrapping method, built Hollow Cylindrical Fenders can be produced from 500mm O.D. up to 1500mm O.D.
We use a specially compounded SBR/Natural blend elastomer, which is highly resistant to degradation, UV radiation and seawater. Technical specified elastomers can be produced to meet the customers individual requirements e.g. EPDM, Neoprene etc.
