SafaWood® Anti-Slip Decking

The Rubber Company’s SafaWood® product is an anti-slip decking which combines EPDM rubber and pressure treated softwood deck board. This combination allows for a safer, anti-slip decking in wet and dry weather. Our Safawood® also provides an attractive and colourful alternative to traditional decking making it great for schools, leisure attractions and other public areas.

SafaWood® is stocked in charcoal / red as standard, though our anti-slip decking board can be made in six other colours.

SafaWood® is rated as ‘low potential for slip’ tested to BS 7976 part 2.

SafaWood® anti-slip decking is PEFC certified and has a 15 year guarantee against rot and fungal decay, subject to correct installation and treatment of cut timber.
