Barrier Shield is a premium polymer-based rubber sheet engineered with high-density barium sulphate and calcium carbonate minerals for superior soundproofing performance. Completely free from lead, unrefined aromatic oils, and bitumen, this environmentally safe material offers exceptional resistance to mineral oils, greases, and alkalis. Designed for flexibility and durability, Barrier Shield is easy to handle, cut, and install, while maintaining excellent resistance to both heat and cold. It is also ageing- and rot-proof, ensuring long-term reliability.
Ideal for improving the sound insulation of existing panels made from metal, wood, or plastic, Barrier Shield effectively minimizes noise and vibration issues – especially those caused by coincidence dip resonance in lightweight structures such as plywood sheets, hollow core panels, or oil and gas pipework.
