Product Description
Our nitrile PVC sponge rubber is a high-quality closed cell rubber foam with a smooth outer skin, designed for reliable sealing and insulation. It provides excellent air-tight and water-tight sealing, along with strong resistance to heat, oil, UV, ozone, and is flame retardant. Being dust- and fibre-free, it is suitable for public, commercial, and industrial applications without affecting air quality.
Moisture, Thermal & Acoustic Performance
Thanks to its closed cell structure, PVC nitrile sponge rubber offers outstanding moisture resistance, helping to prevent condensation and protect against corrosion. The material also delivers effective thermal insulation, reducing heat loss in both internal and external environments, while its flexible foam structure helps reduce noise and vibration.
Fire Resistance & Safety
This PVC nitrile rubber foam conforms to BS476 Part 6 Class 0, making it a flame-retardant insulation material that does not readily burn and helps limit the spread of flames. These properties make it ideal for safety-critical environments, including construction and automotive applications.
Sizes, Formats & Custom Options
We supply PVC nitrile sponge rubber sheets and foam in densities from 60–90 kg/m³ and thicknesses from 3mm to 40mm as standard. Available formats include rolls, sheets, strip cut lengths, and bespoke gaskets. Optional self-adhesive backing and lamination are available to suit your exact installation and performance requirements.
