Product Description
Our EggBox foam is a high density and extremely durable material, which is suitable for a variety of applications. This material is often referred to as EggBox or Egg Crate foam due to its convoluted design that resembles egg packaging. The material features an open cell structure, which enables to absorb a variety of noise, impact and vibration. The material is treated with flame retardant, particulate fillers and a polymeric bonding agent, which offers class “O” fire performance. It also fully conforms to UL94 HF1 Classification. Our EggBox material is lightweight and incredibly easy to work with. You can cut the material to size using most common cutting tools. You can also adhere the material to most surfaces using a spray adhesive.

Sound Absorption
The unique design of the EggBox foam creates a material with an exceptionally large surface area. This serves to reduce reverberation, reflections and flutter echoes. The uneven surface also enables the material to absorb a greater range of frequencies and soundwaves than plain acoustic foam. You can also use the material to create “quiet zones” by applying the material to walls. EggBox sound absorbing foam is also ideal for use in small enclosures such as shower pumps to reduce noise.
Impact Protection
The open cell structure of this material provides far superior flexibility. This enables the material to compress while under pressure in order to protect the contents from damage. The excellent durability of the material allow it to absorb a variety of impacts and weight. The unique shape of the EggBox material also enables it to protect non-uniform shape goods from moving. The lightweight nature of the material makes it ideal for use in carry cases and shipping packaging.
