Rubber Keyhole Fender Guide

Product Description

Our keyhole fenders are specially designed to offer reliable protection for the bow or stern of tug and workboats. They offer an alternative to W Fenders  where heavy forces need to be absorbed. Made from high abrasion resistance rubber with excellent resilience properties, keyhole fenders are very tough but can still be curved around the hull or stern of a vessel and are very simple to install. They are also suitable for use on quay and harbour sides.

Standard keyhole fenders are manufactured by extrusion for long lengths or compression-moulding for blocks. They can be produced with either smooth or grooved face surface, the grooves providing a better grip.

Like our composite fenders, we can produce keyhole fenders with a UHMWPE layer to provide a low friction surface. We have a range of standard dies and can also manufacture bespoke sizes to a customer’s request.
