Product Description
Our hypalon rubber sheeting is a premium grade synthetic material. It is manufactured from chlorosulfonated polyethylene and is a extremely resistant material. Hypalon provides outstanding resistance to chemical and oil deterioration across the materials full temperature range. It also features a wide operating temperature range from -30°C up to +180°C. Hyplon is an incredibly stable material and resists fire as well as being self extinguishing. We can supply this material in a wide variety of thickness from 0.5mm to 50mm. It is also available with a width of 1.4m in either 5m, 10m or 20m depending on the thickness.
Hypalon is a highly versatile material due to the combination of resistance and physical properties it features. Customers commonly use this material in construction and electrical industries for its Impermeability characteristics. It is also ideal for use sealing and equipment protection in chemical and automotive industries. It is worth noting however, that hypalon offers poor resistance to petrol and lubricating oils.
Here at The Rubber Company we can convert hypalon into a variety of sheet sizes, strips and gaskets. Our dedicated team can work directly with you in order to ensure that the seal meets your exact requirements. Simply send us an email with a drawing or the dimensions you require.
