Product Description
Our pvc nitrile sponge rubber is a high quality, closed cell material with a smooth outer skin. It provides excellent air and watertight sealing properties as well as good resistance to heat, oil, UV, Ozone as well as being flame retardant. PVC nitrile sponge is also dust and fibre free, which enables it to be used in any public, commercial or industrial applications without impacting on the air quality. As a closed cell material, our PVC and nitrile sponge blend provides inherent moisture resistance and can provide long lasting protection against corrosion.
We supply this particular material in a range of densities from 60 to 90 kg/m3 and thicknesses 3mm to 40mm as standard. We can also produce it in a variety of formats such as; full rolls, sheets, strip cut lengths and bespoke gaskets. If required, we can supply the material with adhesive backing for easy installation or laminated in order to achieve larger thicknesses and physical properties. This ensures that we can always supply the perfect material to match your exact requirements.
PVC nitrile sponge rubber is incredibly versatile due to the excellent heat loss resistance the material offers. This results in outstanding thermal conductivity in interior as well as exterior environments. Our pvc and nitrile sponge blend also conforms to BS476 Part 6 Class 0 specifications for a flame retardant material. This indicates that it is a material that does not burn and helps to reduce the spread of flames. These properties make the material highly popular in both the construction and automotive industries.
