Thermal insulation foams are used in a range of industries including HVAC, construction, Rail, Aerospace & Medical uses. Duct lining, pipe insulation, flame proofing, solar panel insulation, controlled temperature packaging.
Basotect® Acoustic & Thermal Foam
This is an excellent acoustic absorption and thermal insulator, melamine based foam available in white and grey. These two properties allow the foam to be used in a range of applications: heating ventilation, air conditioning, wall & ceiling panels for commercial environments, theatres, recording studios. Used widely in the building, automotive and aviation industries. Standard sheet size: 2500mm x 1250mm or cut to order.
Foil Faced Acoustic & Thermal Foam
This product is a laminate of closed cell polyethylene foam and aluminium foil face to help reflect radiating heat. Bonded using a fire-resistant theromsetting adhesive, it is a thermal insulation used in a range of industries. Can be supplied plain back or with self-adhesive backing.
RubbaSorb Foam
This is a flexible polyurethane foam with fantastic sound absorption properties combined with exceptional fire-retardant properties. It has a Class 0 rating to the Building Regulations Document B Appendix A Paragraph 12b, therefore used widely for applications where high fire performance is essential, such as: building, marine, heating & ventilation.
R35 HiFi Acoustic & Thermal Foam
An open cell, reticulated polyester foam where sound can pass through without distortion.
Plastazote
Plastazote is a very lightweight closed cell, cross-linked polyethylene foam. It has excellent thermal insulation properties making it ideal for use in automotive and construction industries. Plastazote is also free from any chemical agents which make it popular in both the science and medial industries
