Product Description
We specialise in providing a wide range of silicone rubber moulding solutions, including seals, gaskets, keypads, bellows, gaiters, instrument covers, and much more. Using advanced compression and transfer moulding techniques, our manufacturing process incorporates the latest material and technological innovations to deliver reliable, high-performance components
Why Choose Silicone Rubber?
Silicone rubber is one of the most versatile materials for moulding applications, offering:
• Exceptional temperature resistance: from -100°C to +300°C.
• Outstanding weathering properties: including UV, ozone, and water resistance.
• Excellent durability: suitable for demanding environments and long-term use.
We can also supply mouldings that meet a wide variety of material approvals, such as FDA, WRAS, UL, and more. To match your design requirements, silicone mouldings can be colour-matched to RAL or Pantone references.
Applications Across Industries
Thanks to its high inertness, silicone rubber is ideal for use in medical, pharmaceutical, and food processing applications. With a range of Shore A hardness levels (10–100), it can be tailored to meet specific design needs. Silicone rubber’s resistance to UV and ozone exposure also makes it the perfect choice for outdoor applications, where it outperforms many natural rubbers.
Enhanced Performance with Additives
Silicone’s unique properties can be further enhanced with specialist additives. For example, WACKER alone offers nearly 1,000 silicone rubber products, modified to deliver benefits such as:
• Extreme temperature resistance
• Electrical conductivity
• Flame retardancy
• Chemical resistance
• High tear strength
Manufacturing with HTV Silicone Rubber
All our mouldings are manufactured using HTV (high-temperature vulcanising) silicone rubbers. During production, silicone is permanently cured inside the moulding press at high temperatures, ensuring consistent quality, stability, and long-term performance.
