Product Description

Vermiculite coated glass cloth undergoes a treatment process where it is coated on both sides with vermiculite, resulting in exceptional resistance to high temperatures. The vermiculite treatment, utilising a mineral-based aqueous dispersion, creates a layer of platelets that fuse together at elevated temperatures. This coating acts as a protective barrier for the base glass cloth material, shielding it from direct heat sources such as molten metal and solder. Because of these advantageous properties, vermiculite coated glass cloth is commonly employed in the manufacturing of welding blankets, as well as high-temperature connectors and sleeves in the metal and foundry industry.

We offer vermiculite coated glass cloth in various supply options, including cut-to-size pieces, rolls, or customised manufacturing to meet your specific requirements.
