Product Description
RubbaMuch® is our specially developed range of rubber mulch products. It offers the same look as standard wood chips but also features the durability of rubber. We manufacture our RubbaMuch® products from 100% recycled tyres. This gives you an environmentally sustainable product without compromising on quality.
Unlike loose lay rubber much our bonded RubbaMuch® utilises a combination of rubber bark and a binder (resin). This provides a single large surface and enables you to shape the height and look of the mulch however you want. It is only the bonded rubber mulch which can provide an adequate critical fall height surface. This provides excellent cushioning to protect against damage from potential falls.
Customers who don’t require a critical fall height surface can still benefit from the use of our bonded rubber mulch. It provides a permanent display solution which won’t spread or deteriorate over time. This greatly reduces maintenance compared to standard wood chips which can move during use or adverse weather conditions.

Critical Fall Height Protection
The critical fall height of an object describes the maximum height someone could potentially fall from. This means that taller objects such as slides or climbing frames require a greater critical fall height. Following our critical fall height guidelines can greatly reduce the risk of serious injury.
Our rubber mulch has been independently tested to meet the strict requirements of EN1177 (2008) on a concrete base. However, customers who install rubber mulch onto a dynamic base such as soil can achieve greater critical fall heights with lesser thickness.
