RubbaMulch® is a bonded rubber mulch that recreates the natural look of wood chips while offering all the long-lasting benefits of rubber. Perfect for playgrounds, gardens, pathways, and landscaping projects, it combines attractive design with exceptional durability and safety.
Made from recycled SBR tyres, RubbaMulch® is both eco-friendly and non-toxic, coloured using UV-stable pigments to maintain its appearance over time. Unlike traditional bark or wood chips, it doesn’t rot, attract insects, create dust, or absorb water — ensuring a cleaner, low-maintenance surface that looks great all year round.
Durable, Safe, and Low Maintenance
When installed with our RubbaFlex® binder, RubbaMulch® forms a permanent bonded surface that stays in place regardless of weather conditions. This makes it incredibly easy to maintain, requiring minimal attention once installed. It’s ideal for areas that experience regular use, such as schools, public parks, and garden walkways.
Bonded RubbaMulch® also provides Critical Fall Height (CFH) protection, making it a trusted choice for playgrounds and recreational spaces with climbing or play equipment. Independently tested to EN1177:2008 standards, it ensures reliable impact protection. When applied over a softer base, such as soil, even greater fall height performance can be achieved with less material thickness.
