RubbaClean-T Entrance Matting Econyl® presents an innovative solution, featuring an aluminum doormat with an eco-friendly textile insert made from the revolutionary ECONYL® material.
ECONYL® represents a sustainable approach to nylon production, utilising recycled nylon waste like fabric scraps, old carpets, fishing nets, and industrial nylon. Through a sophisticated recycling process, these materials are transformed into a high-quality nylon with minimal environmental impact, ensuring both performance and sustainability.
By opting for RubbaClean-T Entrance Matting Econyl®, you actively contribute to the reduction of nylon waste in landfills, thereby lessening the pollution burden on our planet. Moreover, the underlays of our textile inserts are entirely free of PVC and plasticisers, ensuring an environmentally conscious production process. With 30% less energy consumption and 15% fewer greenhouse gas emissions, these mats represent a durable, flexible, and eco-friendly alternative to traditional PVC underlays.
The mat comprises resilient drying surfaces set within aluminum frames, exhibiting exceptional resistance to abrasion and crushing, along with efficient moisture absorption. Interconnected via robust stainless steel ropes, these mats are designed for indoor use, catering to entrances experiencing substantial pedestrian traffic, frequent hand transport cart usage, and the movement of shopping carts.
OPERATION & MAINTENANCE
Resistant to the following elements, our RubbaClean-T entrance matting systems can withstand: table salt, snow dissolving agents and basic chemicals lacking chlorine.
For cleaning, follow these steps: Roll up the mat, sweep/vacuum the debris, wash the floor, then unroll the mat to its original position. Regularly vacuum the doormat and occasionally use carpet cleaning devices (extractors), ensuring only chemicals that won’t harm rubber and aluminium are utilised.
To maintain cleanliness, it is advised to clean once every two weeks or more frequently, depending on the accumulation of dirt and the frequency of rain and snow.
The allowable load for aluminium doormats placed in the groove is 2500 kg/m². There is no limit for pedestrian traffic or the transportation of trolleys, wheelchairs, lifts, and passenger cars, as long as each wheel doesn’t exceed 150kg or the overall weight of the trolley doesn’t surpass 600kg.
For optimum performance, the even placement of strip wipers within the groove is essential, with a depth tolerance of approximately 2mm. Irregularities beneath the entrance matting mat lead to permanent deformations in the construction profiles.
