Product Description
RubbaStar is a high-performance natural rubber sheeting designed for tough industrial and ballistic environments. It offers exceptional abrasion resistance, high tensile strength, and self-healing properties, making it one of the most durable rubber materials available on the market.
Manufactured from pure natural rubber, RubbaStar provides superior strength and elasticity compared to synthetic alternatives. It has a tensile strength of 24.0 MPa and an abrasion resistance rating of 80 mm³, allowing it to withstand heavy pressure and repeated impact without tearing or deteriorating. The sheeting performs reliably in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +70°C and remains flexible even in sub-zero conditions. It is also resistant to water damage, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
One of RubbaStar’s most impressive features is its self-healing ability. When used in shooting ranges or ballistic applications, any bullets passing through the sheet leave only a small pin-sized hole. This means the material maintains its integrity and lasts much longer than standard rubber sheeting.
RubbaStar is widely used in a variety of industries. Common applications include shot-blast curtains, chute linings, tank and valve linings, pump and hose linings, belting, slurry handling plants, and quarry linings. It is also suitable for use in fabricated parts and seals. In addition, RubbaStar can be manufactured into heavy-duty floor squeegee blades that remove water effectively, adapt to uneven surfaces, and provide long-lasting performance.
Comparable in quality and specification to Linatex rubber sheeting, RubbaStar gives you a premium, reliable solution for demanding applications. With its combination of strength, resilience, and self-healing properties, it delivers outstanding performance and extended service life.
