Product Description
Also known as ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, UHMW is an extremely durable material featuring high abrasion and wear resistance. People typically associate a variety of rubber compounds with fender products, however with the introduction of high-quality plastics you now have more choice than ever. We are able to supply these particular fenders in a vast selection of sizes as standard.
You can use our UHMWPE-ECO sheets on their own, as a low-profile protective barrier. These low-profile fenders are particularly popular for use in marinas, jetties or any docking environments. This is due to the low friction properties that the material offers which greatly reduces damage and wear to the boat as well as the fender itself.
You can also combine our UHMWPE-ECO sheets with existing rubber fenders, to increase the life span and add new properties. You can install this product as a face plate on rubber arch fenders for example to provide a low friction alternative. This increases the functionality of the rubber fender and enables you to replace the face plate at a fraction of the cost of a new fender.

Unique Properties
UHMWPE-ECO is a high-quality material which features unique properties compared to other plastics and rubbers. It features the highest impact strength of any thermoplastic currently in manufacture. This particular polyethylene is also odourless, tasteless, as well as nontoxic, which makes it suitable for use in interior applications. A unique feature of this UHMWPE-ECO compared to other plastics is the materials additional resistance to concentrated acids and alkalis, as well as numerous organic solvents. This ensures that our product is incredibly low maintenance and also enables you to use it in almost any environment. The key feature of this material however is the excellent low resistance properties it offers. This is due to the self-lubricating nature of the material which reduces wear and keeps the product functioning for longer.
Environmentally Sustainable
