Product Description
Approved to: FDA 21 CFR No: 177 – 2600 & EU1935/2004 regulations.
Our FKM A (Viton) food contact rubber is a high quality, specialist material. We produce this particular grade using an FKM A quality compound. It is ideal for use in food or pharmaceutical processing applications due to the unique combination of properties it provides. Our food grade FKM A (Viton) sheeting features top in its class resistance against animal fats as well as food related oils. It is also able to maintain this resistance and physical properties across a broad temperature range from -30°C up to +275°C. We are able to supply this material in variety of thicknesses between 0.5mm – 50mm. It features a standard width of 1.2m and is available in 5m or 10m long rolls depending on what thickness you require.
Despite FKM A sheeting having high resistance to hydrocarbons, oils, acids and chemicals, it cannot be used where resistance to ketones is required.
Our FKM A (Viton) food contact rubber sheeting contains 66% Fluorine content.
