Product Description
Our hydrogenated nitrile HNBR is a premium grade material that offers superior resistance and physical properties compared to our other nitrile material grades. Also known as saturated nitrile, this material is produced by introducing hydrogen into the saturate of the nitrile material. We supply this material in a range of thicknesses from 0.5mm to 50mm as standard. We can also produce a variety of formats such as; full rolls, strip cut lengths as well as bespoke gaskets and shapes.
Hydrogenated nitrile provides excellent resistance against motor oil, gas, oxidised fuels as well as lubricating oil deterioration. It is also highly resistant to animal and vegetable fats, fuel, Ozone, solvents and dilute acids. Aside from providing outstanding resistance and stability, hydrogenated nitrile also provides superior tensile and tear strength properties. This combination of properties enable you to use our material in a broad range of applications and environments.
We regularly supply our hydrogenated nitrile for use in transportation and manufacturing industries. However, this material is suitable for use in almost all oil and gas contact applications. Common uses include; seals for fuel handling systems, accumulator bladders, diaphragms and gaskets.
This material fully conforms to REACH, RoHS, PAH and CE specifications.
