Product Description
TICO® Guide Type Pipe Clamps are designed to minimise vibration transmission between pipework and hanger, and prevent corrosion between different metals. They are engineered for the straightforward and effective clamping of thin wall pipes with a TICO® FR/PA isolation strip, providing an unrivalled level of cushioning and support.
They consist of a high-grade galvanised or stainless steel U-bolt enclosed in a moulded sleeve made of TICO® FR material, with a PTFE lined inside surface which enables the accommodation of larger axial and torsional pipe movements, allowing the pipe to slide. TICO® FR and FR/PA materials consist of a blend of synthetic polymers and specialised compounding ingredients specifically designed to operate in the aggressive environments in the offshore and petrochemical industries.
They help reduce the transmission of noise and have an operational temperature range of -50°C to +120°C with an intermittent use of +150°C. The material has a low surface spread of flame, low smoke and low toxicity. It also self-extinguishes when the source of the flame is removed. They offer good resistance to a wide range of fluids as well as ozone and UV.
