The Rubber Company can manufacture and supply a wide range of silicone platinum cured tubing. This product is ideal for use in the food and beverage industries. We can supply this product with an inner diameter from 0.5mm – 25mm in a variety of lengths. However, we are always happy to produce bespoke sizes subject to minimum order quantities.
Silicone platinum cured tubing offers a number of advantages over standard and peroxide cured silicone. As the name suggests, this product is cured using high quality platinum. This means it contains no peroxide by-products, and is non yellowing as a result. Aside from the aesthetics, this product features great mechanical properties. It provides great tear resistance as well as wide functioning temperature range from -40°C to +200°C. These key features make this product highly durable and versatile. This enables you to use it in a variety of applications and environments without the product deteriorating.
Our platinum cured tubing is the perfect product for use in peristaltic pumps. This is largely due to the superior life expectancy that this particular product offers compared to other tubing products.
This product is FDA approved as well as Bfr complaint. It also features full WRAS approval for use in both hot and cold-water applications.
