Product Description
SaferWeave® is a new kind of grass protection mesh. It combines the excellent grass protection qualities found in our Grasshield® product with additional slip resistance. This product is independently tested to meet BS 7976-2 safety standards. Only SaferWeave® is able to offer 33% higher slip resistance compared to other grass protection meshes.
SaferWeave® is also a lot more flexible than other reinforcement mesh, which allows for even quicker and easier installation. You can install our grass protection mesh using U-Pins or J-Pins. We typically suggest using 25 pins per roll for 1m x 10m and 100 pins per roll for 2m x 20m. This will provide excellent levels of stability in almost all weather conditions. However, depending on the quality of the soil below you may want to use more or fewer pins to secure the mesh.
Thickness Options
Our SaferWeave® grass protection mesh is available in selection of three different grades. This ensures that you can always get the perfect product to suit your unique application. Below is a list of our standard mesh thicknesses as well as information about potential applications suitable for that product. Please refer to the table at the bottom of the page for more product codes and technical information.
- 9mm: Suitable for pedestrians, wheelchair access, occasional overflow car parks, temporary access.
- 11mm: Suitable for occasional use of light commercial vehicles and caravans.
- 13mm: Suitable for occasional use of HGV’s, access routes for fire engines and refuse trucks.
