Product Description

ToughTrack® is manufactured from high-density polyethylene and made extra thick for supporting heavy weights such as tractors, giving protection to the grass. Our heavy duty reinforcement mesh also has a high profile giving extra grip for both wheeled and tracked vehicles. ToughTrack® is UV stabilised and unaffected by chemicals allowing it to be re-used many times over.

Although ToughTrack® weighs less than 10kg, each panel can support vehicles up to 20 tonnes. Our heavy duty reinforcement mesh is also very quick and easy to install. Simply place the mesh straight down to the ground and join with either fixing pins or cable ties. ToughTrack® provides a much safer surface for temporary car parks and walkways. You can also install our heavy duty mesh as a permanent solution. The grass below will grow through the mesh to create a more natural look, as well as increase stability.

Installation Guidelines

There are many ways to install ToughTrack® depending on the application and the quality of the surface below. In some temporary uses it may be possible to simply place the mesh on the ground and use the product without attaching it to the soil. However, we always advise that our customers attach the mesh to the surface below to increase stability and reduce and tripping hazards.

In order to ensure that our heavy duty reinforcement mesh is securely attached to the ground we suggest using fixing pins for installation. We find that 8mm fixing pins provide more than enough stability for most surface types. For a secure installation we recommend 12 pins per panel.
