Standard silicone, like many other rubber compounds offers good resistance properties. However, aggressive fluids can still damage and greatly reduce the performance of the materials. A key feature of our solid fluorosilicone cords is the materials superior resistance to fuels and abrasive chemicals. It can withstand, frequent exposure to the chemicals without deteriorating. This makes the material particularly popular for use in fuel systems within the aviation and aerospace industries.

Aside from offering excellent chemical resistance, our solid fluorosilicone cords also provide good environmental resistance. This product features a broad temperature range from -53°C to +260°C. It also provides good weathering, UV and Ozone resistance. This enables our product to deliver consistent performance in almost any environment.
