Product Description
Our heavy-duty rubber speed bumps are manufactured from recycled rubber and finished with a high-visibility yellow EPDM coating. Each unit incorporates an internal steel plate to enhance structural integrity, providing exceptional durability and enabling the product to withstand heavier vehicle loads. Suitable for installation on both tarmac and concrete surfaces, they are designed to effectively reduce vehicle speeds in a wide range of traffic management applications.
Every 1,000mm section features eight integrated reflective cat’s eyes to maximise visibility in low-light conditions, ensuring compliance with DfT regulations. The speed humps are engineered to allow comfortable traversal at speeds of up to 10mph. For configurations exceeding 1,000mm in length, two 250mm end caps are supplied to provide a complete installation.
Compared with concrete or asphalt alternatives, rubber speed bumps offer greater flexibility, reducing the potential risk of vehicle damage. Their inherent elasticity also makes them significantly less prone to cracking or breaking under heavy loads or extreme temperature fluctuations.
Supplied as a complete package with all necessary fixings and SDS Max drill bit included, these speed bumps are straightforward to install. They offer an impressive load capacity of 60,000kg overall – equivalent to 15,000kg per tyre and 30,000kg per axle.
