Product Description
Our range of matting ramp edge profiles are manufactured from either solid EPDM rubber or PVC depending on the profile. These profiles have been specifically designed to sit around the edge of pre-existing matting and flooring products to enable easy wheelchair and trolley access. We offer a wide selection of profiles as standard. We can also manufacture bespoke profiles to suit your exact requirements, subject to minimum order quantities.
As the name suggests, a key feature of our matting ramp edge profiles is the sloped edge the profiles offer. Our profiles enable you to increase ease of access without needing to purchase an entirely new mat. With this in mind, we developed our range of profiles to suit a wide selection of the most popular matting and flooring product thicknesses. The rubber edging strip can be placed against a shock pad in conjunction with our wet pour and RubbaGrass.
The high-quality compounds we use enables our matting ramp edge profiles to withstand frequent and heavy use. Aside from increasing ease of access, our edging can also serve to increase the life expectancy of your matting. This is because our ramped edging greatly reduces the wear and tear caused by wheels as well as footfall. The compound combines a high tensile strength with good flexibility and elongation properties. This ensures that the edging is able to efficiently absorb impacts, while still being easy to pass over.
