Product Description
We manufacture our high quality, SBR rubber tiles (RubbaTiles®) from recycled truck tyres. Our tiles feature excellent impact absorption as well as abrasion resistant properties. This ensures that out tiles provide not only excellent safety, but excellent value for money as well.
Each of our individual rubber tiles come in 1m x 1m squares. This enables you to easily cover large areas, while also reducing any potential trimming. Our tiles are available in thicknesses ranging from 20mm all the way up to 90mm. This gives you great freedom over the exact protection and cushioning that you require. We can also supply ramped edges to minimise any potential tripping hazards.
Due to the nature of the material we use, our rubber tiles are black in colour. However, using a dye during the manufacturing process we are able to produce this product in either green or terracotta red. However, the dye used is not U.V. stable and also release a black carbon. Therefore, these tiles are not suited for areas where young children are crawling such as schools and hospitals. For these applications please see our EPDM Topped RubbaTiles®.
Edging Options
Aside from the standard flat tile format we can also supply tiles with ramped edges to allow for wheelchair access and reduce any potential tripping hazards. Below are the 3 most common edging options we supply:
