Product Description
Our epdm natural rubber sponge blend is a premium-quality, high-density, closed cell material. It combines the excellent resistance of EPDM with the physical characteristics found in natural rubber. This results in a material that is not only highly versatile, but also highly durable. The closed cell structure enables our EPDM and natural rubber sponge blend to create an air and watertight seal. This ensures that less pressure is required in order to create a seal. It also provides superior thermal insulation as well as preventing the build-up of bacteria and mould.
We supply this particular material in densities ranging from 270 to 330 kg/m3 in a variety of thicknesses as standard. We can also produce the material in a wide range of formats such as; full rolls, sheets, strip cut lengths as well as bespoke gaskets and shapes. This ensures that you always get the perfect material to match your unique requirements.
A key feature of our epdm natural rubber sponge blend is the materials excellent resistance against UV and Ozone deterioration. It also features a wide operating temperature range from -30°C to +100°C. This enables you to use the material in exterior environments without fear of the material becoming brittle and losing it’s sealing capabilities. Another key feature of our EPDM and natural rubber sponge blend is the high-density nature of the material. This makes the material ideal for use in physically demanding applications.

Material Conversion Possibilities
Here at The Rubber Company we can utilise a variety of sponge rubber conversion tools and techniques. This enables us to cut, shape, drill, join and laminate our materials to match your exact requirements. Rubber sponge materials are manufactured in large blocks, so it is necessary to convert these blocks into usable end products. Our dedicated team can work directly with you every step of the way. This ensures that we use the best methods in order to achieve your desired shape and finish.
