Product Description
Our open cell industrial sponge is a high quality, natural rubber sponge material. The open cell structure provides this particular material with excellent compression recovery properties. It also enables our industrial sponge to form a seal around uneven or complex shapes. The interconnected cell structures also allow for the limited absorption as well as circulation of gases and fluids in applications that require it.
We typically supply our open cell industrial sponge with a density of 380 kg/m3, in thicknesses ranging from 3mm to 25mm as standard. We can also supply this material in full rolls, cut sheets, strip cut lengths as well as CNC cut gaskets.
Due to the open cell structure of this material, our open cell industrial sponge should be used in applications where resistance to fluids is only required when a surface coating is applied. We regularly supply this particular material for use in repetitive loading and distortion applications such as; packaging protection and expansion joints. However, the open cell structure also enables this material to function as an anti-vibration material for marketing displays and silent flooring installations.
