Product Description

Our EPDM Neoprene sponge rubber blend is a high-quality, closed-cell material that is suitable for use in a variety of sealing applications. This material is a co-polymer of EPDM and Neoprene, which combines the excellent resistance of EPDM with the additional fuel and oil resistance of Neoprene. The superior resistance properties found in this material make it ideal for use in sealing applications that require a degree of fuel, oil and chemical resistance.

This material is available in a variety of densities from 115 to 155 kg/m3 as well as thicknesses ranging from 1mm to 40mm as standard. We can produce it in a selection of formats such as, full rolls, sheets, strip cut lengths as well as bespoke gaskets. We can also add adhesive backing or laminate the sponge to increase the physical properties or thickness of the material. Don’t hesitate to contact use regarding any bespoke requirements you may have.

The combination of properties found in our EPDM Neoprene sponge rubber make it a highly versatile material. Sponge rubber blends are becoming increasingly popular, replacing both pure EPDM and Neoprene as an excellent general purpose material. The closed-cell structure prevents air or water from passing through, or being absorbed into the material. The EPDM Neoprene blend is also low-odour and features a wide operating temperature range and good ageing resistance. This makes the material ideal for use in both the construction and automotive industries.
