Product Description
Our high recovery silicone sponge is a medium density material that is able to quickly return to its original shape. The excellent recovery or “shape memory” this material provides makes it ideal for use in T-shirt and fabric printing applications. It also features a fine, textured fabric finish on both sides of the material. The textured finish makes this material particularly popular in certain applications and industries compared to the smooth finish that most silicone sponges provide. This material is available in a wide variety of thicknesses from 1.6mm up to 12.7mm as standard. We can supply it in rolls with a width of 1.2m and a maximum length of 8m. We can also manufacture bespoke strips and gaskets to your exact requirements.
Aside from providing excellent recovery, this particular silicone sponge features excellent thermal resistance. This material is able to function in temperatures from 55°C and +204°C continuously up to up +232°C for intermittent use. Our high recovery silicone sponge sheeting also provides excellent resistance against weathering, UV and Ozone deterioration. These properties enable this material to function in a wide variety of applications with ease.
