Product Description
Our high recovery silicone sponge is a medium-density, highly resilient material designed to quickly return to its original shape after compression. Its excellent shape memory and recovery properties make it particularly suitable for applications involving repeated compression, including T-shirt printing, textile printing, heat press equipment, sealing and cushioning.
Unlike conventional smooth silicone sponge, this material features a fine textured fabric finish on both sides. This distinctive surface provides additional versatility for specialist printing, manufacturing and industrial applications where a textured finish is preferred.
Our high recovery silicone sponge sheeting is available in thicknesses from 1.6mm to 12.7mm as standard. Rolls are supplied up to 1.2m wide and 8m long, providing a versatile solution for both small and large components. We can also manufacture bespoke silicone sponge strips, pads and gaskets to suit your exact dimensions and application requirements.
Excellent Temperature & Environmental Resistance
High recovery silicone sponge combines outstanding resilience with excellent thermal performance. The material is suitable for continuous operating temperatures from approximately -55°C to +204°C, with intermittent exposure up to +232°C.
It also provides excellent resistance to weathering, UV and ozone deterioration, helping the material maintain its performance when exposed to demanding environmental conditions. This combination of temperature resistance, flexibility and rapid recovery makes high recovery silicone sponge an excellent choice for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.
