Product Description
Our fluorosilicone sponge sheeting provides an excellent combination of temperature resistance, chemical resistance and flexibility for demanding sealing applications. Designed for use in extreme environments, this high-performance fluorosilicone sponge rubber maintains its properties across a wide operating temperature range while offering excellent resistance to fuels, oils and many chemicals.
We supply fluorosilicone sponge sheets in 915mm x 915mm sheet sizes, with thicknesses ranging from 0.8mm to 3.2mm. The material’s flexible sponge construction enables it to compress and conform effectively against mating surfaces, making it particularly suitable for manufacturing gaskets, seals and cushioning components.
High Temperature & Chemical Resistant Sponge
Fluorosilicone sponge combines the excellent temperature performance associated with silicone rubber with enhanced resistance to fuels, oils and chemicals. The material remains functional across a broad temperature range of approximately -62°C to +204°C, making it suitable for applications exposed to both extreme cold and elevated temperatures.
Unlike many conventional sponge rubber materials, fluorosilicone sponge provides excellent resistance to deterioration caused by hydrocarbons, oils and fuels. This combination of properties makes it particularly well suited to specialist applications within the aerospace, automotive and defence industries, including fuel handling and delivery systems.
