Product Description
The RubbaClean-R entrance matting systems comprise aluminium with a rubber insert. The profiles are linked with stainless steel cord, and rubber spacers divide the aluminium profiles. This design facilitates smooth rolling for the purpose of clearing and transporting the mat.
A damping foam tape is positioned beneath the aluminium profile. The space between the aluminium profiles can vary between 3mm and 4.5mm. The versatile construction of these doormats enables us to produce mats in diverse dimensions and shapes. The mat’s width is determined by cutting the profiles, while the length is achieved by adding aluminium profiles and compressing rubber spacers.
Operation & Maintenance
The RubbaClean-R Entrance Matting System demonstrate resistance to various chemicals, including: table salt, snow-dissolving agents and basic chemicals without chlorine content.
For effective cleaning, follow these steps: Roll up the mat, clear away any debris by sweeping or vacuuming, wash the floor, and then unroll the mat in its original position. It’s essential to regularly vacuum the doormat and periodically use wet cleaning with carpet cleaning devices (extractors), using only chemicals that won’t cause harm to rubber and aluminium.
To maintain cleanliness, we recommend cleaning once every two weeks or more frequently based on the level of dirt and the volume of rain and snowfall.
The permissible load is 2500 kg/m² for aluminium doormats situated within the groove, with no load limitations for pedestrian traffic or transport items such as trolleys, wheelchairs, lifts, and passenger cars, provided that each wheel doesn’t exceed 150 kg or the total weight of the trolley doesn’t exceed 600 kg.
The proper functioning of strip wipers relies on their placement within an even groove, with a depth tolerance of approximately 2 mm. Any irregularities in the floor beneath the doormat may result in irreversible deformation of the construction profiles.
