Product Description
RubbaClean-T Plus mats are crafted from aluminum, featuring a textile insert (Polyamide). The drying inserts are resistant to abrasion, denting, and absorb moisture well. The profiles are connected using stainless steel cord, while the aluminum profiles themselves are separated by rubber spacers. This design facilitates convenient rolling for both cleaning and transportation purposes. Additionally, there is a damping foam tape beneath the aluminum profile for added support.
The open space between the aluminum profiles can range between 3 mm and 4.5 mm. The adaptable construction of these doormats enables us to produce mats in various dimensions and shapes. The mat’s width is determined by cutting the profiles, while the length is achieved by adding aluminum profiles and compressing the rubber spacers.
Operation & Maintenance
Resistant to the following elements, our RubbaClean-T entrance matting systems can withstand: table salt, snow dissolving agents and basic chemicals lacking chlorine.
For cleaning, follow these steps: Roll up the mat, sweep/vacuum the debris, wash the floor, then unroll the mat to its original position. Regularly vacuum the doormat and occasionally use carpet cleaning devices (extractors), ensuring only chemicals that won’t harm rubber and aluminium are utilised.
To maintain cleanliness, it is advised to clean once every two weeks or more frequently, depending on the accumulation of dirt and the frequency of rain and snow.
The allowable load for aluminium doormats placed in the groove is 2500 kg/m². There is no limit for pedestrian traffic or the transportation of trolleys, wheelchairs, lifts, and passenger cars, as long as each wheel doesn’t exceed 150kg or the overall weight of the trolley doesn’t surpass 600kg.
For optimum performance, the even placement of strip wipers within the groove is essential, with a depth tolerance of approximately 2mm. Irregularities beneath the entrance matting mat lead to permanent deformations in the construction profiles.
