Our RubbaClean-T Outdoor entrance matting features textile cleaning inserts seamlessly embedded with durable aluminium profiles. OPERATION & MAINTENANCE
RubbaClean-T exhibits resistance to various elements, including table salt, snow-dissolving agents, and basic chemicals devoid of chlorine content. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to roll up the matting for sweeping or vacuuming to remove debris, followed by thorough floor cleaning before returning the mat to its original position. Routine maintenance involves regular vacuuming and periodic wet cleaning with carpet cleaning devices (extractors), utilising only compatible chemicals that do not compromise the integrity of the rubber and aluminium components.
For effective upkeep, a cleaning of at least once every two weeks is advised, although more frequent cleaning may be necessary based on the volume of dirt accumulation, as well as the frequency of rain and snowfall.
Regarding load capacity, the aluminium entrance matting systems are engineered to withstand a permissible load of 2500 kg/m² when positioned within a groove, while accommodating unlimited pedestrian traffic and the movement of various transport trolleys, wheelchairs, lifts, and passenger cars not exceeding a maximum weight of 150kg per wheel or 600kg for trolleys.
It is imperative to ensure the even placement of strip wipers within the designated groove, with a recommended depth tolerance of approximately 2mm. Any irregularities in the floor surface beneath the doormat may lead to irreversible deformation of the construction profiles, potentially affecting the overall functionality of the system.
