Product Description
We manufacture our silicone self-grip profiles from a high quality, FDA compliant silicone rubber compound. They provide excellent edge protection and sealing capabilities in high temperature and hazardous environments.
In many applications, you can install these profiles without the use of adhesive. This provides a secure fit, while also enabling you to install and remove them as required. We currently offer 3 profiles available as standard, but we can also manufacture bespoke profiles to your exact specifications.
These silicone self-grip profiles feature a good combination of durable mechanical properties with highly versatile resistance. They are resistant against thermal deterioration, as well as being flame retardant to UL94-HB specifications.
The silicone compound provides good resistance against exposure to fuel and lubricants. It also provides excellent resistance against water, water glycol mixture, salt spray, and a variety of detergents.
The stainless steel inlay within our silicone self-grip profiles enables you to securely install them along a curve. It also ensures that the profile is able to maintain its shape to better seal or protect against impacts.
