Product Description
Here at The Rubber Company, we manufacture and supply a wide and diverse range of silicone round U channel profiles. The high-quality construction of our profiles enables you to use them in a variety of industries in interior and exterior applications.
The distinctive shape of U channel profiles provides them with two key features. Firstly, the U shape is ideal for panel protection applications and protecting edges from damage. Secondly, the open inner channel allows for excellent rates of compression, which enable the profiles to efficiently seal gaps.
Depending on your application you may want to use an adhesive solution for a permanent installation. However, for temporary or light use applications, you can simply slot the profiles in place without adhesive. This enables you to insert and remove the profiles for multiple uses.
These profiles are manufactured from a high-quality silicone compound as standard. We can also manufacture using specific material grades such as high temperature and metal detectable. Silicone features a wide operating temperature range with excellent high temperature resistance. It also provides great stability, which enables you to use our U channel profiles in chemical compound contact applications.
