Product Description
Specially formulated silicone rubber is applied to one or both sides of continuous filament glass cloth. This results in silicone coated glass cloth, which boasts outstanding weather and ageing resistance, as well as remarkable stability against ozone and UV light. The silicone rubber coating can be adjusted to various weights and can be applied to all types of glass cloth weaves.
We provide silicone coated glass cloth in different supply options, such as cut-to-size pieces, rolls, or customised manufacturing tailored to your specific requirements.
Important Information
The continuous temperature rating for silicone rubber is 220°C, while under optimal conditions, it can withstand up to 250°C. On the other hand, the base glass fabric has a higher temperature rating and can endure up to 550°C in ideal conditions.
By incorporating a wire reinforcement, the fabric’s tensile strength can be enhanced, enabling it to retain its structural integrity even at elevated temperatures. Please contact us for any bespoke requests.
