Product Description
RubbaEdge is a durable and versatile ramp edging designed for use with a wide range of our rubber matting and safety surfacing products. It provides a safe and simple solution wherever accessibility for wheelchairs, prams, or buggies is required, creating smooth, trip-free transitions between surfaces.
RubbaEdge is particularly useful for wet pour surfaces where the edges have become damaged or where a level threshold is needed. It can be placed easily around the perimeter, then finished with a 12mm or 25mm layer of EPDM granules depending on the ramp size. This approach offers significant cost savings compared to removing and replacing the existing wet pour surface, and it is a more environmentally friendly option.
Manufactured from high-quality EPDM, RubbaEdge provides excellent resistance to UV, ozone, and weathering, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. For secure installation, we recommend bonding the edging to our matting products using our FC40 sealant.
RubbaEdge is available in two sizes in 10m lengths to suit different surface or matting thicknesses:
61mm x 14mm for 12mm surfaces
90mm x 27mm for 25mm surfaces
