It is worth noting however, that applications requiring a watertight seal will require a moulded bellow.

Our stitched bellows provide good abrasion resistance as well as a wide operating temperature range as standard. Depending on the chosen material our bellows can also offer additional; mechanical, oil, acid, alkali and weathering resistance. Don’t hesitate to get in contact with us if you are unsure what material best suits your unique requirements. Our dedicated team are on hand in order to ensure that you can always get the best bellows possible.

Alligator Fastening System

Aside from our bespoke manufacturing service, we can also offer alligator belt fastening for many of our stitched bellows. This unique system is incredibly quick and easy to work with, and enables us to join bellows of any size. It serves to provide uniform tension across the length of the bellow, while also creating an smooth joint.

As you can see from the example the fixing teeth provide consistent grip, even while under great tension.

This makes it a suitable joining solution for a wide variety of applications from conveyor and transmission belts to agricultural applications. The alligator fastening system is suitable for use on belting up to 13mm thick. Don’t hesitate to contact us for more information regarding alligator belt fastening.
