Product Description

A Multi-Purpose Sealant is a one-part silicone rubber; adheres to a variety of surfaces, has good resistance to weathering, moisture and temperature. This specified general-purpose silicone adhesive/sealant is a versatile one-part solution that cures at room temperature upon exposure to moisture in the air, thanks to its acetoxy cure system. With a non-sag, paste-like consistency, it’s easy to apply and transforms into a tough, flexible rubber upon curing. This adhesive/sealant boasts excellent adhesion to various substrates and maintains its stability and flexibility across a wide temperature range, from -60°C to +180°C (-76°F to +356°F), with short peaks reaching +205°C (401°F). The black version extends its resilience even further, staying stable and flexible from -60°C to +205°C (-76°F to +401°F), with short peaks up to +230°C (446°F). In addition to its impressive thermal properties, it also exhibits excellent dielectric properties and is compliant with both MIL-A-46106 and FDA 177.2600 standards. It’s available in white, black, clear, and aluminum variants to suit different applications.
