Product Description
Our blue metal detectable food grade nitrile is a premium grade material, it has been specifically manufactured to conform to FDA standards (FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 – EU1935/2004), for safe contact with food and beverage. This material grade offers good physical properties as well as excellent resistance to oil and grease deterioration. We can supply this material in a variety of thicknesses ranging from 1.5mm to 6mm as standard. We can also produce it in a range of formats such as; full rolls, strip cut lengths and bespoke gaskets.
Another key feature of our blue metal detectable food grade nitrile sheeting is the materials wide temperature range, from -35°C to +110°C. This enables you to use the material in a wide variety of food processing and storage applications. We regularly supply this material for use as; O-rings, gaskets, worktop sheeting, food packaging and protection barriers.
The maximum levels of compound mixtures used are in accordance with FDA standards [Food & Drug Administration – Department of Health and Human Services] part 177 – indirect food additives section 177.2600 – rubber articles for repeated use.
This material is also REACH, RoHS, PAH and CE Compliant
