Product Description
This is a double-layer duct featuring a special high-temperature silicone-coated glass fabric on the exterior, while the interior layer is composed of raw glass. It’s further reinforced with an external galvanised steel “clamp profile” for added strength and durability. This duct demonstrates remarkable resistance to extreme temperature peaks, withstanding temperatures of up to 550°C. It is highly fire-resistant and boasts excellent axial compressibility, accommodating compression at a ratio of 6:1.
This versatile duct is well-suited for a range of applications, including the suction and discharge of smokes, vapours, welding gases, furnace exhaust, as well as the removal of dust and fibres. It finds utility in various industries, such as iron and steel production, heating plants, and within the aerospace and defence sectors.
