Product Description
This transparent hose is crafted from an ether-based TPU material and is reinforced with a TPU-coated AISI 302 INOX steel spiral, ensuring optimal adhesion with the hose wall. Its interior surface is smooth, promoting optimal flow properties, and it maintains a consistent wall thickness of 1.5 mm across the entire diameter range.
Despite its robust construction, this hose remains lightweight and flexible, even at low temperatures, making it suitable for heavy-duty applications where excellent abrasion resistance is essential. It exhibits impressive resistance to mineral oils and chemicals, aging, UV rays, ozone, and weathering. Moreover, it complies with food-grade standards, aligning with EU 10/2011 (classes A, B, C, D1, D2, E) and FDA CFR 21-177.2600).
The hose is designed to be permanently antistatic (R<10⁹ Ohm/m) thanks to the special TPU material used. It also resists microbes and hydrolysis, making it suitable for applications where microbial resistance is a crucial requirement. Additionally, the hose can be made conductive (R<10² ohm/m) by grounding the spiral.
Its primary applications include suction of abrasive media in the food and pharmaceutical industries, use in the chemical industry, and various scenarios where exceptional microbial resistance is essential. In the plastic industry, it is commonly used for the suction of granulates intended for products that will come into contact with foodstuff. Furthermore, it is employed on street cleaning vehicles for specialised purposes.
