This dark grey PVC-P spiral hose is strengthened by an anti-shock rigid PVC spiral, providing a reliable structure. It boasts a completely smooth inner surface and a corrugated exterior. In comparison to the Grey PVC-P Spiral Hose, it stands out as more lightweight and flexible while retaining its essential technical qualities, such as resistance, wear resistance, and flexibility. This balance is achieved through an optimal weight-to-mechanical resistance ratio.
The hose is resilient to weathering, various chemicals, and low temperatures. Additionally, there is an option for a copper wire version upon request. Its primary applications lie in ventilation and industrial air conditioning, including the suction of air, fumes, gases, dust, sawdust, and shavings.
PVC-P, a thermoplastic material, falls under the category of polyvinyl plastics. It has a notably low tensile strength while exhibiting a reasonably high level of ductility in comparison to other thermoplastics.
