Product Description
This is a semi-transparent hose made from ether-based TPU, featuring reinforcement provided by a copper-coloured TPU-coated steel spiral. It is constructed using a special TPU formulation that combines various properties, rendering the hose’s wall permanently antistatic (R<109 Ohm/m). It is also highly resistant to microbes, hydrolysis, and UV rays. Moreover, this unique TPU material is flame retardant and complies with UL 94-V0 standards. The hose itself is self-extinguishing in accordance with German Regulation DIN 4102-B1.
Maintaining a consistent wall thickness of 0.9 mm across its entire diameter range, this hose is both lightweight and flexible. It’s an excellent choice for applications requiring robust abrasion resistance, especially in the woodworking industry. Additionally, this hose can be rendered conductive (R<10² Ohm/m) by grounding the spiral.
It is commonly used for the suction of wood shavings and sawdust in sawmills and woodworking plants and can also serve as a protective sleeve in various applications.
