Product Description
This is a semi-transparent hose crafted from ether-based TPU, featuring a copper-coloured TPU-coated steel spiral. The hose is manufactured using a special TPU formulation that combines several key attributes, including permanent antistatic properties (R<109 Ohm/m), resistance to UV radiation, microbial resilience, and protection against hydrolytic attacks. Additionally, the material is flame retardant, adhering to UL 94-V0 standards, and the hose itself is self-extinguishing in accordance with the German Regulation DIN 4102-B1. It maintains a consistent wall thickness of 0.5 mm across its entire diameter range.
Despite its robust features, this hose is both lightweight and flexible, making it ideal for applications requiring strong abrasion resistance, particularly in the wood industry. It is also compressible at a 5:1 ratio. Additionally, this hose can be rendered conductive (R<10² Ohm/m) through proper grounding of the spiral.
This hose is designed for various applications, including the suction of sawdust and abrasive dust in wood processing industries, dedusting operations, use in small industrial vacuum cleaners, and suction systems. It can also serve as a protective sleeve in various settings.
