Product Description
An open pore, flexible polyurethane foam on a polyether/polyester base. PPI (pores per inch) indicates the number of cells in the foam per inch. Standard range is 10ppi – 80ppi. PPI 10 has large cells and is completely open, while PPI 80 has small cells, is more dense and has a lower air flow. ‘Reticulated’ means having a net-like structure so the foam allows water and air to pass through while trapping dust and debris within the cell.
We offer a wide range of reticulated filtration foams including:
- Reticulated Polyether in various pore sizes for applications in water and air filtration, biological filtration, water treatment.
- Flame retardancy FMVSS 302 grade for air filtration in the HVAC and automotive industries.
- Special grade Reticulated Polyester RS85 fluid filtration, medical filters, cosmetics applicators.
- Safecrest specially formulated for fuel explosion suppression within fuel tanks of aircraft, boats, military vehicles and racing cars.
- Ezi-Dri specially formulated for outdoor seating boats and yacht applications resists bacterial growth, preventing stain and odour.
- Improcel RT-VO Reticulated Polyether foam flame retardant to UL94-V0 in various pore sizes for safety critical applications, filtration in AC, ventilation, automotive and electrical equipment.
- Improcel RT-RG semi rigid Reticulated grade.

Post treated Reticulated foam with PVC, Calcium Chloride, Activated Carbon also available.
