Product Description
Expanded Nitrile NBR sponge rubber is formed through the infusion of a foaming agent into rubber during its production, forming an elastomer characterised by an air-filled structure. This variant of closed-cell sponge rubber, composed of NBR, exhibits heightened compressibility compared to traditional solid rubber forms. The resultant product, boasting affordability and durability, retains characteristics of its parent material to a moderate degree. Our Nitrile sponge serves as a versatile elastomer suited for a range of applications.
The inclusion of NBR within this closed-cell sponge rubber imparts favourable weather resistance to the material. On its own, NBR excels at resisting the damaging effects of different oils and greases. In this blended cellular rubber grade, this quality is present but in a moderate form. It can handle light oil contact with ease, but it should be noted that its heavy oil contact resistance is limited.
